Recently, MoSeeker, a leader in recruitment digitization, and the globally renowned pharmaceutical company Novartis officially launched a local ATS integration project in China, collaboratively establishing HR best practices that comply with CBDT data outbound regulatory policies. By leveraging its independently developed ATS, MoSeeker is working with Novartis to build an ATS solution tailored to China’s recruitment ecosystem, ensuring the protection of personal information while seamlessly integrating with global HCM systems.
I would especially like to thank our partner MoSeeker. Novartis is no stranger to MoSeeker; we’ve worked together multiple times before to achieve local integrations. This time, it’s two old friends teaming up again, bringing better results into a new chapter. The main purpose of this local ATS integration project in China is, of course, to meet the basic requirement—ensuring Novartis’s compliance with data export regulations. But it also holds opportunities for us to set industry best practices,” said Frank Xu, Talent Acquisition Head, China, Novartis. “ I believe that, in China and in the pharmaceutical sector, we are one of the pioneers in integrating a global system while building a local compliance solution. We aim to use various digital tools to create a smooth end-to-end candidate journey under data compliance, and to present a panoramic view of this journey to our global audience. I believe this is an opportunity not only for Novartis but also for other multinational companies.“
In 2022, the Cyberspace Administration of China released the “Measures for Security Assessment of Data Export,” promoting the safe and free flow of cross-border data and safeguarding public interests. The localized solution jointly created by Novartis and MoSeeker not only proactively responds to regulatory trends regarding information protection but also aims to set a new, influential benchmark in the industry. Furthermore, since Novartis’s global HCM system is built on Workday, this project also represents a deep collaboration between MoSeeker, Novartis, and Workday.
“Thank you to everyone participating in this project for making it possible—after a long selection process and many discussions about requirements, we’ve finally reached this exciting moment of officially launching the project,” said Xiangdao Wang, MoSeeker Founder & CEO. “Over the past few years, we have built a lasting partnership with Novartis. Today, through the local ATS integration project in China, I believe we will achieve even deeper collaboration. At this moment, we’ve come together as a large project team, and I hope we’ll achieve great success in the future as well!“
Moving forward, MoSeeker will work with Novartis to build a localized ATS recruitment system for China, gradually replacing the recruitment processes of the global HCM system within the country. This will involve seamless integration with numerous local job boards to post positions and collect resumes, thereby enabling efficient data management, secure information protection, and an outstanding candidate experience. MoSeeker remains committed to providing clients with innovative technology and reliable solutions, accelerating recruitment digitalization to meet the rapidly changing market demands.
