Dec 20, 2025

The 5th MOMENTUM China Talent Potential Conference, organized by MoSeeker, was held yesterday at Zikawei Library in Shanghai. The event brought together professors and HR executives from over a hundred leading global companies and universities—including Goodyear, Ant Group, CBRE, and Infineon Technologies—to explore the current status, future development, and transformation trends of China’s talent potential from diverse perspectives.

Pan Shumin, Party Secretary of the Xuhui District Federation of Overseas Chinese and Director of the Xuhui District Overseas Chinese Office, delivered the opening speech for the conference. She emphasized the need to better harness China’s demographic dividend, promote talent recruitment, and build a high-quality, professional workforce in the future.

Wang Xiangdao, founder and CEO of MoSeeker, gave an in-depth presentation on new methodologies for the future of work. He analyzed global economic dependence on China, shifting trends in university graduate numbers, and stressed the need to pursue both quantity and quality in talent. Wang highlighted three major leaps in enterprise development and outlined MoSeeker’s strategic evolution—from “mobile first” to “AI first”—in response to the changing times. He also noted that the localization of multinational companies’ recruitment systems is now an irreversible trend, and detailed the end-to-end recruitment process, its practical applications for different clients, and how interview agents can be deployed for AI-driven interviews. Finally, he shared his outlook on future trends in China’s HR technology landscape by 2026.

Dr. Tian Ruixiong, Co-founder and Head of AI Innovation at MoSeeker, provided a detailed overview of the company’s intelligent recruitment agent, MoAgent, describing its effectiveness in resume processing and AI interviews. These task-automating agents are accelerating the recruitment process while greatly enhancing efficiency and accuracy.

Ma Nuo, VP of Human Resources for Goodyear Asia Pacific, offered insights into self-empowerment during change management, sharing how the company, amid global transformation, focuses on personal growth, expanding employee perspectives, and embracing new opportunities with a positive mindset.

Torain Yang, Senior Expert in Organization and Talent Development at Ant Group, discussed the “dividends of the AI era,” emphasizing the forces of transformation and renewal. He explained that HR’s role is continually evolving in the wave of AI adoption, with organizations and talent management mechanisms actively exploring and driving AI transformation to empower more work.

Jennifer Gou, Head of People for CBRE China, shared best practices for developing China’s talent potential from a global perspective combined with local implementation. Ma Chen, Asia Affairs Director at TWE, offered new insights into the core value of talent, challenging conventional definitions of excellence in talent selection and management.

During the three roundtable discussions at the conference, guests engaged in lively debates around different topics. The first roundtable focused on building ATS systems tailored to China’s recruitment ecosystem, where participants shared unique insights on various recruitment stages such as job-resume matching, resume screening, and large-scale hiring within China’s market.

The second roundtable explored how collaboration between HR and AI is reshaping organizational structures, discussing AI’s role, contributions, opportunities, and challenges in areas such as architecture, talent empowerment, performance management, and cost reduction and efficiency improvement. The third roundtable saw experts debate how to create a distinctive employer brand, each expressing their perspectives.

Notably, this year’s MOMENTUM Conference also presented six major awards: the China Digital Recruitment Potential Award, Excellence in HR Team Award, China Artificial Intelligence Recruitment Potential Award, China Employer Brand Potential Award, Excellence in HR Management Award, and Best HR Manager Award, honoring individuals, teams, and companies for their outstanding achievements and contributions in the recruitment field.
