This project, based on MoSeeker’s self-developed core SaaS recruitment platform MoATS, has created a one-stop recruitment management system built on the foundation of previous integrations. Officially launched on June 18 of this year, the project has taken over 160 days to complete. Both parties have clearly defined their roles, maintained close communication, and efficiently collaborated, leveraging their respective expertise to solve numerous complex implementation challenges. They have successfully completed various stages, including requirement communication, product design and planning, project development, and testing, culminating in the establishment of a new local ATS integrated with the Workday system used overseas, which helps users better conduct local recruitment efforts.
First, by deploying locally, it stores personal information involved in the process within the country. This move is in response to China's regulations on personal information protection (PIPL) and cross-border data transfer (CBDT), aiming to comply with stringent legal standards and provide strong compliance support for Novartis's recruitment activities in China.
Secondly, while the overseas and Chinese recruitment systems exist independently, they are closely linked and work together to promote the sharing of information, data flow, and seamless integration, delivering a smooth experience for users. Recruiters can create new positions in the global HCM system, which are then automatically synced to the ATS in China. Upon meeting regulatory requirements, certain necessary information will be transferred abroad, while non-essential data will remain local.
Novartis uses the Workday HCM system globally. MoSeeker, as Workday’s sole innovation partner in the recruitment field in China, has collaborated with them to launch the MoSeeker Apply Sync solution, which achieved Workday Certified Integration status. This solution is increasingly being adopted across various industries.
The newly launched Novartis China ATS empowers every aspect of the recruitment process. Leveraging the strong compatibility of MoSeeker MoATS, it integrates with numerous external recruitment channels, covering mainstream platforms like WeChat and job boards, as well as specialized recruitment sites focusing on pharmaceutical talent, acting as an information hub. Users can conveniently post job positions that have been synced from overseas with just one click, allowing for automated resume collection. Subsequent recruitment steps, including talent matching, resume screening, and interviews, can be configured and managed through a streamlined process.
