Ford Automotive Finance Company’s (China), (FAFC) China Data, Insight, and Analytics (CDI&A) Credit Analytics organization is looking for motivated and talented individuals with a background in IT and Data analysis.

This is a dynamic and challenging opportunity to apply IT and Data skills to solve a variety of business problems at FAFC. As a member of the Credit Analytics team in CDI&A, the candidate will perform the development of business concepts, implementation, and integration of predictive models and strategies, testing, and productionalization.

• Analyze, implement, test, and productionalization predictive models and risk strategies using multiple platforms.

• Work with data sources on multiple platforms (PC, Linux, and Teradata).

• Work with Risk Management teams to conduct and support risk analyses; provide quick viable solutions under time constraint.

• Provide ad-hoc reporting, data analysis, and programming as requested by business partners.

• Support platform upgrades.

• Learn new software tools as necessary.

• Execute both descriptive and inferential analyses in a timely manner.

• Collaborate with business partners, Analytics, IT Teams, and Vendors to productionalize predictive models and Strategies.

• Proactively work to continuously improve the business analytics delivery process.

• Play dual-role of data and technology consultant.

• Bachelors in Computer Science/Data Science, and/or Masters required.

• 2-3 years of proficient programming experience, preferably in Python or other script language in both procedural and object-oriented paradigms.

• Experience with RDBMS and data warehousing (Ex: Teradata, Oracle, DB2).

• Experience in working with IT testing processes and environments.

• Familiarity with Agile and PDO processes.

• Experience using SAS, SQL, Python, SAS RDM, KBS.

• Experience supporting Data Scientist/Modeler work.

• Strong desire to help the company be more efficient and build solutions that make the team more productive and increase quality confidence.

• Strong oral and written communication skills in both Chinese and English.

• Ability to handle multiple projects within a given timeframe.

• Self-starter, ability to work independently with minimum supervision.

• Demonstrate ability to learn and become productive in new technologies quickly, with ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

• Proactive attitude and confidence to ask questions.
