RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Group is committed to conducting its business with honesty and integrity, in accordance with all applicable international and local laws and regulations, in particular those related to export control. The export control function has been designed with this aim in mind and relies on a talented and diverse network of compliance professionals for its effective implementation.
We are looking for experienced export control expertise to manage our expanding regulatory compliance with the experience of managing export control in multinational companies, extensive knowledge of trade compliance management, and excellent communication skills.
The responsibilities of this position will include the following:
• Monitoring related export control policy and regulations, providing up-to-date information, and drafting the communication, including key takeaways and business implications
• Assisting on developing China export control directives and methods
• Conducting the KYC/KYS screening to identify any potential risks, and clearing red flags
• Supporting on export control training plan/material, organizing the exposed target to complete relevant training on time
• Developing and leveraging EPoC (Export Control Point of Contact) to provide the consulting service for to all Chinese entities
• Assisting on self-assessment, audit, escalation analysis, violation investigation, voluntary disclosure and corrective actions
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
• International Legal/International trade degree, qualified lawyer preferred
• 3+ years of experience working in export control related areas (e.g., trade compliance, customs operation, etc.)
• Well-developed knowledge of export control regulations preferred, including but not limited to China export control law, EAR and EU Dual-use
• Excellent writing skills required to draft policies, procedures, reports, memorandums and newsletter
• Strong learning ability and good business acumen
• Languages: Chinese (native), English (fluent), French is a plus
