[About the Role]

This position is an interface with relevant groups to ensure that necessary validation activities are included in the project plans and that all planned qualification activities occur.

Participate in the development of new EMC test methods per customer requirements, including requirement analysis, test planning, execution, failure analysis and reporting test result.

Your Team

Directly report to SU EMC Validation Lead.

[What You Will Do]

• Lead design, development, automation, implementation and verification of new EMC test methods.

• Provide hardware design teams with recommendations and solutions for EMC design

• Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) simulation and analysis using professional EMC simulation tools.

• Participate in EMC verification testing at all stages of product design, formulate and implement test plans, test programs and optimize existing design solutions

• Organizes EMC program by preparing timetables, cost, and required resources including test laboratories and equipment.

• Work closely with the team to troubleshoot complex electromagnetic issues

• Assisting in troubleshooting at vehicle level with customer as needed.

• Responsible for the transformation, decomposition and implementation of EMC standards

• Responsible for the technical improvement of the EMC team and the training of technical experts

• Other assigned tasks by management.

[What You Need]

Must to have:

• 10+ years EMC qualification or related experience; experience in automotive industry

• In-depth understanding of EMC standards and test methods.

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Advanced EMC and test solutions knowledge is required.

• English can be used in spoken and written

Nice to have:

• Preferable experience in EMC simulation and analysis, proficient in the use of EMC simulation software, such as CST, ANSYS, etc.

• EMC Lab accreditation experience is preferred.

What Makes You Eligible

• Automotive OEM or tier1 EMC experience.

• iNARTE Engineering Certificate is preferred
