A. Accountabilities
● The jobholder shall be able to provide the flyable procurement service to FALA in Tianjin as well as pass the needs of FALA to the commodities, i.e Aerostructure, System & equipment procurement, Cabin, Material & detail part.
● The jobholder shall be able to improve the resilience and sustainability of the supply chain from a global point of view.
● The jobholder shall be able to drive the drumbeat meetings among FALA, procurement and strategy functions in a cross-functional environment.
B. Main activities
Strategic activities
● Be an interface between Airbus procurement central team and FALA Tianjin for procurement related topics.
● Coordinate with PxY & PYx (Procurement and commodity strategy) to define the common strategy & methodology.
● Analyse the possibilities of direct shipment to optimise the logistic flow
● Create the roadmap for dedicated supplier collaboration with MFTs, monitor and continuously improve the maturity of solutions from timing, quality and cost perspective
● Support the Airbus China sourcing strategy on L4L project covering Aerostructure, Cabin, Equipment & Systems procurement.
Client related activities
● Collect and prioritise the needs raised by FALA internal stakeholders, complete the specifications for supplier on-site support, rework & repair agreement
● Report achievements, key issues, etc. to related stakeholders, identify risks and address pain points
Operational activities
● Represent flyable procurement China in relevant meetings with MFTs and corresponding strategy functions, collaborate and coordinate with internal partners and respond to their needs in time.
● Support commercial activities and monitor the progress of supplier supporting activities.
● Organise meetings regularly and involve management level if any blocking points exist.
● Developmental activities
● Provide local voice to Airbus Procurement for process improvement

● The systematic solution for supplier on site support and rework & repair agreement settlement.
● Related Local for Local (L4L) project identification and implementation
● Solutions for secondary and/or primary flow

● Priority list, specifications and action plan for supplier on-site support, rework & repair agreement and solutions and direct shipment proposals.

Qualifications
• Education: Graduates from a leading Engineering school with focus on procurement or a leading aviation school.
• Experience: 3+ years in aerospace industry, especially in procurement.
Ability
• Soft Skills: Able to work independently and prioritise work efficiently; able to work well under pressure in a demanding environment; able to work with trans-national teams; able to influence external and internal stakeholders.
• Technical Skills: Skills of negotiation and communication; Knowledge of Aerospace commodities and sourcing strategy; Knowledge of data analysis and digitalization. Engineering background will be a plus
