The Licence Aircraft Engineer is the technical and quality support for the Team Leader. He/she observes the tasks carried out by mechanics and technicians on maintenance sites, and investigates and takes action as needed, in order to approve work carried out and be able to sign work orders.
Operational activities
Participate in the drawing up and scheduling of operations
Participate in the drawing up of quotation requests (re-invoicing and/or additional requests)
Participate in customer progress meetings at the Project Manager's request
Identify the required resources and skills and develop versatility Assist the team leader when needed
Raise the awareness of employees and third parties to ensure that health and safety standards are understood and included in work practices
Identify the main focus of technical improvements of production staff
Advise and pass on knowledge to production staff
Follow up the execution plans sent by the Project Manager (rates, delivery deadlines)
Assist the Project Manager in negotiating technical points with the customer as required
Provide technical solutions in line with their skills/experience
Report any nonconformities observed (NRC), and propose technical solutions in accordance with the manufacturer's documentation in agreement with the Team Leader
Ensure proper follow-up of working documents (including signing and approving of tasks carried out)
Ensure that human resources, skills and versatility are tailored to needs
Ensure that all maintenance/storage/recycling activities, including the correction of defects, are performed in accordance with approved data and in compliance with the organisation's procedures and CAAC/EASA rules and requirements?
Check the closing of the area and assembly
Carry out Ground Check, Run up and endoscopy operations
Inspect the aircraft before departure
Carry out tasks of all specialities to support production teams when needed (activity peak, additional experience in the field, etc.)
Draw up fault and incident reports
Other tasks assigned by the manager.
Certifications:
CAAC Part 66 ME-TA licence or equivalent, LV2 English or above.
A320/A330/B737/B777 Part 147CAAC type course, EASA Part 147 type course is preferred
Base maintenance experience /Eng Run up is preferred
