Accountabilities
The jobholder is responsible to maintain the training devices at the level of reliability
(>99%) requested by Airworthiness Authorities and Airbus training standards.
⮚ He ensures the Training Customer Feedback (TCF>75) in terms of Training Device
availability and quality.
⮚ He ensures the training center operation continuity even outside normal working
hours.
Maintain and operate Full Flight simulators, APT & ACT trainers, cabin
trainer, training computers(server, workstation, laptop, tablet) and classrooms
Client related activities
⮚ Responsibilities in managing both internal and external customers, and ensuring there is
effective customer relationship management
⮚ The job holder is in constant relation with instructors and trainees customers
as the front line technical support regarding training devices operation.
⮚ Customers’ satisfaction is his priority.
Operational activities
⮚ Responsibilities in running the day-to-day operations, and ensuring there is effective use of
resources to achieve all the targets set
⮚ Pre-flight checks daily
⮚ Routine check each Sim (do conversion if necessary) per each session
⮚ PM weekly, monthly, quarterly, half-yearly & yearly
⮚ Spare part management
⮚ Take scheduled shifts
⮚ TD DR follow and check, correction if possible
⮚ Response Maintenance Call to minimize the training interruption.
⮚ FM NDB, airport data, APT, CBT courseware, patches & some applications update
⮚ QTG recurrent running
⮚ Sim visit (Demo) hosting; TD logistic support off working hours
⮚ Brief new instructor (FFS/APT) & dry leaser
⮚ KPI and Daily work record including trouble shooting & solution record
Developmental activities
⮚ Responsibilities in managing the people resources for the division or department and ensure continuous people development
⮚Constant enrich technical knowledge (with and without training) to cover large
scales of technology fields
⮚Sim & Aviation related training and technical exchange in plant and out plant
⮚ Client related Outputs
Delivers on time training devices for training execution and secures dispatch
reliability above 99% contributing to have a TCF above 75
⮚ Operational Outputs
Ensure routine work is performed.
Ensure that the preventive maintenance tasks are performed according to the required plan.
Ensure the database (visual, FM, EGPWS) update timely
⮚ Developmental Outputs
Be a good team member, working in shifts with team spirit.
Able and reliable to do routine work & Preventive maintenance individually
Be able to perform DR check & correct, as well as troubleshooting.
