Job Overview
The People Analytics team at Walmart China is looking for an analytics manager to join our growing team of data analytics experts, whose responsibility includes, but not limited to, accurate data collection, processing, visualization and analysis. The ideal candidate is able to draw insights from people data and influences business decisions through smart visualization and presentation. The Analytics manager will work closely with company leaders and HR leads to support and implement high-quality, data-driven decisions. They will ensure data accuracy and consistent reporting by designing and creating optimal processes and procedures. They will use smart visualization, tools building and predictive modeling to interpret key findings from massive people data and leverage these insights into initiatives that will support business outcomes.
Responsibilities for People Analytics Manager
• Build, develop and maintain data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards and performance metrics that support key business decisions.
• Oversee the design and delivery of reports and insights that analyze business functions and key operations and performance metrics.
• Ensure accuracy of data and deliverables of reporting employees with comprehensive policies and processes
• Oversee the data/report requests process: tracking requests submitted and prioritization.
• Promote data-driven culture and mindsets to relevant stakeholders.
• Take ownership in cross-functional projects related to data, analytics and technology.
• Support assigned HR projects and initiatives.
Qualifications for People Analytics Manager
• Combine technical skills with business acumen and communication ability to convert analytics findings into actionable business insights.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau and powerBI; Experience with data processing tools such as SQL and Alteryx; Experience with Excel is a must; Ability to code with Python and R is a plus;
• Understanding of and experience with statistical concepts and techniques; Ability to use statistics to solve real-world business problem.
• Strong ownership and proactivity to promote data-driven culture and mindset.
• Abilities to handle multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
