As a member of the Program Core Team, he/she is responsible for all the manufacturing aspects of the Program. His/her mission last from the Acquisition phase till SOP + 6 months.
In the following fields, he/she has to:
Team Management
1. Coordinate work package tasks and ensure their accomplishment;
2. Coordinate the plant launch teams of the plants involved in the program;
3. Coordinate activities and tasks fulfilment of the Program Manufacturing team;
4. Act as the interface between the Program Core team and the plant(s);
5. In agreement with the program manager, technical interface with the customer and the suppliers.
Product interface (manufacturability)
1. Ensure design to manufacturing through concurrent engineering activities with product engineers;
2. Ensure manufacturing feasibility;
3. Manage the Prototype Build and Delivery and Analysis;
4. Implement all changes related to production system and/or related to the product (as of Engineering Change Management).
Production System Development
1. Study, develop in detail, validate, release and set-up the complete Production System of the program: equipment and tool interfaces, layout, process flow charts, material and information flow diagram in accordance with the Group standards and program objectives;
2. Ensure the achievement of Process, Equipment and Facility FMEA.
Production launch
1. Manage the Production Part Approval Process (including Mass Production Trial and Extended Mass Production Trial);
2. Manage the production launch;
3. Support the Production Ramp-up.
Targets and reporting
1. During the acquisition phase, propose the industrial objectives of the program (cycle times, flexibility…);
2. Achieve all manufacturing program objectives (Quality ,Costs, Delivery, Performance) such as Process and Machine Capabilities, MPM, PPM and Scrap rate, CAPEX, Amortized costs, Added value, Logistics costs, Gross Margin;
3. Report on a monthly base the progress of his activity (3PR level 2);
4. Report all manufacturing risks analysis and their associated action plans and opportunities.
5. Apply program Management System and Engineering Change Management and Faurecia tools and standards.
6. Ensure that manufacturing milestones are passed successfully and on time.
1. Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering;
2. At least 4 years experience in Mechanism Electronics industry;
3. Good oral and written English;
4. Good computer skill especially using Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
