Mechanical Engineer (Consumer Hearing)
In this role, you will be responsible for the mechanical realization of innovative consumer hearing products, from industrial design to final product. You will ensure robust design, minimal variation, and premium quality throughout the product lifecycle.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge wearable and smart devices, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to products that make a real difference in people’s lives.
You will be based in Guangzhou and report to the Director, Global Product & Process Qualification.
More about the role:
· Perform complex RSS and Worst-Case Scenario Tolerance Analysis.
· Conduct detailed reviews and scrutinize Cpk data from suppliers.
· Lead DFMEA and PFMEA processes to ensure design and process robustness.
· Provide technical support to manufacturing partners, including problem solving, process improvement, and jig/fixture enhancements.
· Act as the bridge between Industrial Designers and Product Managers to align requirements and expectations.
· Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure mechanical part cost and timelines are met.
· Work closely with cross-functional teams, including acoustic, hardware design, RF, and regulatory certification.
· Develop solutions to ensure products meet qualification requirements.
· Assess acceptance criteria for mechanical features.
· Perform other tasks or responsibilities as assigned.
