Sales Excellence Manager

We are looking for a results-driven and detail-oriented Sales Excellence Manager to upgrade retail/store performance in our distributor network, as well as to co-work with our Marketing team to elevate efficacy/efficiency of our trade marketing .

 

Your primary mission is to develop and implement a modern, standardized retailing practice and implement in premium stores of our distributor network, including but not limited to store classification system (e.g. Flagship, Brand, Authorized/Service Stores etc) and lead storefront upgrade/optimization projects.

 

Additionally, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Sales Director to design/drive the execution of commercial policies, plan sales-led nationwide promotion/campaigns with enforcing the smooth & effective execution at the point of sale, and develop/implement the digitization initiatives of retail excellence.

 

More about the role:

1.Retail Standards & Excellence:

  • Develop, maintain, and manage a comprehensive dealer retail best practice framework, including but not limited to store classification framework (e.g., Flagship Store, Brand Store, Service Store).
  • Define and enforce retail operation standards, visual merchandising guidelines, and brand image requirements for each store tier.
  • Conduct regular store audits and evaluations to assess compliance, identify gaps, and provide actionable improvement plans.

2. Trade Marketing

  • Represent Sales team to co-work with Marketing team to design promotion campaign and trade marketing scheme
  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor the end-to-end execution of national and regional promotion campaigns, ensuring proper setup, material availability, and compliance at all retail points.
  • Track and analyze the performance of promotions and retail initiatives, reporting on ROI and key metrics.

3. Storefront & Image Management:

  • Lead and project-manage storefront initiatives to elevate brand presence and consistency across the network.
  • Collaborate with dealers to ensure optimal in-store layout, product display, and customer experience aligned with brand standards.

4. Commercial Policy & Program Execution:

  • Assist the Sales Director in communicating, training, and ensuring the effective execution of commercial and trade marketing policies across the dealer network.
  • Act as a key liaison between headquarters and field sales teams to align on operational goals and resolve execution issues.

4. Digitization Design & Implementation:

  • Identify digitization opportunities to upgrade for Retail/Store operation in Sonova’s premium distributor network. For example, Drive the adoption and effective usage of the “One Store, One (QR) Code” system, providing training and support to dealers to maximize its benefits for customer engagement and data collection.

 

More about you:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in retail operations, trade marketing, field sales management, or a similar role, preferably within Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), Consumer Electronics, Consumer healthcare, or a dealer-intensive industry.
  • Proven hands-on experience in developing retail standards, store grading programs, and managing store image/merchandising projects.
  • Strong experience in driving the execution of trade programs and promotions at the point of sale.
