Inhouse Product Development
- OE master sample collection for key dimension & interface measurement and analysis.
- Techincal feasibility analysis and product concept design complies with Bilstein AM standard.
- Collaborate with EU/US MPP to ensure product design, drawing, DVP etc.- Output 2D/3D drawings based on Bilstein specification.
- Collaborate with prototype shop & VD to build prototypes and test for best performance setting.
- Create product bill of material and material master data in the system.
- Product related document preparation including installation manual, part certificate of conformity etc.
- Conduct carry over check for Chinese car applications.
- Support the entire team on engineering related topics.
Outsourcing Product Development
- Collaborate with EU/US MPP to define appropriate product specifications for various product categories.
- Ensure supplier can understand Bilstein own product specification requirement for trading goods.
- Define and guide supplier on DVP tests.
- Support sourcing team on trading goods product release to achieve project timing with no product compromise.
- Support on the activities of quality improvement, cost reduction.
