At KONE, we are dedicated to improving the flow of urban life through innovative solutions in elevators, escalators, and automatic building doors. As a Procurement Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficiency and quality of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify, evaluate, and select local suppliers for raw materials, components, and services in alignment with company standards and project requirements. And develop and maintain strong relationships with local suppliers to ensure reliability, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to achieve cost savings while maintaining quality and compliance.
• Ensure all local sourcing activities comply with KONE’s procurement policies, ethical standards, and applicable local regulations.
•Assess and mitigate risks related to local suppliers, including capacity, financial stability, and geopolitical factors. Develop contingency plans to secure material availability during disruptions.
• Work closely with manufacturing, logistics, and global procurement teams to align local sourcing strategies with overall business objectives. Support project teams by providing timely material availability and cost information.
•Track supplier performance in terms of quality, delivery, and cost, implement continuous improvement initiatives for local procurement processes.
