•Scalp is the largest Consumer Benefit Platform with 3% CAGR with strong competition, UL ambition is to become the fastest growing scalp player in the world

•This exciting role in Shanghai will assist in driving competitiveness of future scalp technologies enabled by cutting-edge science and capabilities, and implement of the techs to fuel global scalp innovations across brands.

Main Accountabilities

•Partner with Scalp manager to define JTBD to lead competitive and superior future scalp technology funnel and ensure OTIF implementation of key technology.

•Partner with Scalp manager and functional experts to strengthen technical understanding of scalp science which fulfils consumer desire for market impact.

•Partner with external ecosystem to take novel capability and technology opportunity to fuel scalp funnel.

•Stay on top of competition via patent landscape tracking

Critical success Factors for the Job

•Self-motivation and strong curiosity for scalp/skin science and desirability in novel technology development.

•Experience in personal / beauty care product category is a must, preferably in skin/scalp technology development

•Knowledge in skin/scalp/dermatology science and technology development

•Strong personal leadership and communication skills

•Master’s degree or above in biology/dermatology/biochemistry/chemical biology/bio-informatics

•Lab experience is a must

•Digital capability is preferred

•Good verbal and written English is a must
