Position Overview
This role is a core function within the Global Procurement department, responsible for governing procurement-related master data and leading associated system projects. The manager will ensure the accuracy and integrity of supplier, material, and classification data to enable process efficiency, cost optimization, and robust supply chain operations for our semiconductor business.
Key Responsibilities
- Master Data Governance: Establish and maintain the global governance framework for procurement master data (Suppliers, Materials, Classification). Define data standards, policies, and lifecycle management processes.
- Data Quality & Lifecycle Management: Own end-to-end data quality for procurement domains. Implement regular audits, monitor KPIs, and lead corrective actions to resolve data issues like duplicates or inaccuracies.
- Material Classification: Lead the strategy, implementation, and maintenance of a global material classification system to enable effective spend analysis and sourcing.
- System Project Management: Manage projects for procurement systems (e.g., SRM, ERP modules), from requirement gathering with stakeholders to implementation, ensuring they meet business needs for data management and process support.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Strategic Sourcing, Procurement Operations, IT, and Finance to align data and system strategies with business objectives. Provide training and support on data standards and processes.
