职位描述

- 负责项目先锋& 测试& 攻坚工作,交付顶级质量的作品

- 负责实现新美术风格,负责探索新技术/ 新流程

- 按时按量完成既定质量和美术风格的游戏灯光

- 按时按量完成既定质量和美术风格的实时动画 + 预渲染动画灯光 ( 含镜头/ 渲染/ 合成/ 后处理)

- 一定磨合时间内,对团队成员能力,技能偏向,优劣势获得充分了解,可以主观判断成员的项目择取和发展规划

- 收集并管理灯光组作品集,展示团队作品,展现团队能力

- 随时保持相关知识体系的更新,分享探讨,组织定期会议维护团队凝聚力

- 参与面试,协助总监评估面试者能力

- 参与考评,协助总监评估团队成员能力

- Responsible for leading the project’s pioneering, testing, and critical tasks, delivering top-quality work.

- Responsible for implementing new art styles and exploring new technologies and workflows.

- Summarize feedback and adapt flexibly to continuously evolving technologies and adopt new concepts.

- Responsible for preparing relevant documentation, as well as sharing, presenting, and training within the team.

- Assist the director in evaluating the budget, difficulty, workflow, and risks of the project’s lighting aspects.

- Maintain the project wiki documentation.

- Complete the game lighting tasks on time and in quantity, meeting the established quality and art style standards.

- Complete real-time animation and pre-rendered animation lighting (including camera, rendering, compositing, and post-processing) tasks on time and in quantity, meeting the established quality and art style standards.

- Within an adaptation period, gain a thorough understanding of team members’ abilities, skill tendencies, strengths, and weaknesses, and be able to objectively judge members’ project assignments and development plans.

- Collect and manage the lighting team’s portfolio to showcase the team’s work and capabilities.

- Keep relevant knowledge systems updated at all times, share and discuss insights, and organize regular meetings to maintain team cohesion.

- Participate in interviews and assist the director in evaluating candidates’ abilities.

- Participate in performance evaluations and assist the director in assessing team members’ capabilities.

 

任职条件

- 2 年以上 国外游戏 项目灯光专项经验,或 3 年以上国内游戏灯光专项经验 ( 包括游戏灯光+ 即时过场动画灯光)

- 至少一部 AAA 游戏主灯光师经验,多部不同档次的项目灯光经验

- 至少一部 写实类灯光 项目经验,多部不同风格的项目经验

- 至少一部 主机游戏灯光 项目经验,多种不同机型( 包括 PS/Xbox/Switch/PC/ 手游) 的项目经验

- 有影视项目经验更佳

- 对引擎光照有深刻的理解,了解主流引擎+ 主流项目的光照方式和区别,能针对不同项目需求做出定制化的方案

- 敏锐的细节把控力以及使用光、阴影和颜色创造各种色调和情绪的能力

- 对美术“黑话“有深刻理解,例如,对“脏乱”“唯美”“厚重”等词汇有主流的认知,准确的识别不同词汇所代表的区别,并能通过技术手段呈现

- 深入理解基于物理的 PBR 流程,确保材质与灯光在物理上的准确性。

技能要求:

- 掌握 Unreal Engine 的灯光系统,包括静态烘焙, lumen,反射,光线追踪等,可以理解基本原理。

- 能使用蓝图创建简单的交互式动态光系统,例如昼夜循环,触发灯光。

- 了解 Unreal Engine 的一些灯光相关的插件,例如 Ultra Dynamic Sky 等。

- 掌握 post process 和 color grading 知识,对颜色管理有一定的理解,使用过后期软件例如达芬奇等。

- 掌握 Unreal Engine 的 camera 系统以及 sequencer 系统。

- 具备灯光性能分析与优化的能力,对性能有一定的了解。

- 能与技术美术,图形程序紧密协作,参与渲染管线的定制和工具链搭建。

- 对游戏灯光有深刻的理解,了解从 PS3 时代到 PS5pro 时代主流的灯光方案,光照方式,技术手段,制作流程,性能消耗等,能针对不同的项目需求定制相应的方式方法方案

- 对游戏开发有深刻的理解,能在不同的管线中适应并匹配制作流程,并提出改进意见

- 对摄影知识,科学( 光学知识) 与自然环境有丰富的认知,能解析真实的照片摄影参数,懂得现实生活中各种光学现象的本质,以及对地理环境形成的各种光学现象有丰富的理解

- 对构图,色彩,美学有深刻的理解,出图快,质量好,大师级作品信手拈来,包括且不限于,引擎出图/ 视频渲染/ 摄影/vlog/ 等

- 全面的项目经验,对进度掌控,节点递交,任务分配与追踪理解深刻,无需额外培训;与开发团队& 外包团队合作流畅,无需额外上手时间;有基本的项目管理经验,能归纳/ 总结/ 书面撰写文档/ 分享/ 分析/ 组织内部会议/ 宣讲等;

- Over 2 years of specialized lighting experience in overseas game projects, or over 3 years of specialized lighting experience in domestic game projects (including game lighting and real-time cinematic lighting).

- Experience as the lead lighting artist on at least one AAA game, with lighting experience across multiple projects of varying scales.

- Experience on at least one realistic lighting project and multiple projects with different art styles.

- Experience on at least one console game lighting project, with project experience across multiple platforms (including PS, Xbox, Switch, PC, and mobile games).

- Experience with film or television projects is a plus.

- Deep understanding of engine lighting, familiar with the lighting methods and differences of mainstream engines and projects, capable of creating customized solutions based on project requirements.

- Keen attention to detail and the ability to use light, shadow, and color to create various tones and moods.

- Deep understanding of artistic jargon—for example, having mainstream recognition of terms like "gritty," "aesthetic," "heavy," etc., accurately distinguishing the differences these terms represent and being able to realize them through technical means.

- In-depth understanding of physically based rendering (PBR) workflows, ensuring physical accuracy between materials and lighting.

- Skills Requirements:

- Proficient with Unreal Engine’s lighting systems, including static baking, Lumen, reflections, ray tracing, etc., with the ability to understand basic principles.

- Ability to use Blueprints to create simple interactive dynamic lighting systems, such as day-night cycles and triggerable lights.

- Familiar with Unreal Engine lighting-related plugins, such as Ultra Dynamic Sky.

- Knowledgeable about post-processing and color grading, with a solid understanding of color management, and experience using post-production software like DaVinci Resolve.

- Proficient with Unreal Engine’s camera and sequencer systems.

- Capable of lighting performance analysis and optimization, with a solid understanding of performance considerations.

- Able to collaborate closely with technical artists and graphics programmers, participating in rendering pipeline customization and toolchain development.

- Deep understanding of game lighting, aware of mainstream lighting solutions, lighting methods, technical approaches, production processes, and performance costs from the PS3 era through the PS5 Pro era, able to tailor approaches to specific project needs.

- Strong understanding of game development, adaptable and able to align with different production pipelines, and able to provide improvement suggestions.

- Extensive knowledge of photography, optics, and natural environments; capable of analyzing photographic parameters from real photos, understanding the essence of various optical phenomena in real life, and possessing rich knowledge of optical phenomena caused by geographic environments.

- Profound understanding of composition, color, and aesthetics; fast output with high quality; able to effortlessly produce master-level works, including but not limited to engine renders, video rendering, photography, vlogs, etc.

- Comprehensive project experience with deep understanding of schedule control, milestone delivery, task assignment, and tracking, requiring no additional training; smooth collaboration with development and outsourcing teams without onboarding time; basic project management experience including summarizing, documentation, sharing, analysis, organizing internal meetings, and presentations.
