Home Care Greater China R&D Team in Shanghai is responsible for innovative product development and deployment for Home Care, including detergent liquid, capsule, detergent powder etc.

This individual plays a pivotal role in driving innovation and technical excellence within the laundry product category. Operating under the guidance of the Senior R&D Manager, this role supports the end-to-end development of new and improved laundry solutions—from concept ideation to market launch—ensuring alignment with consumer needs, sustainability goals, and brand strategy.

A key purpose of the role is to accelerate product development timelines while maintaining high standards of quality and innovation. The assistant manager contributes to project planning, documentation, and reporting, and often leads specific technical workstreams or sub-projects. They are expected to stay abreast of emerging technologies, raw materials, and market trends, and to proactively identify opportunities for product differentiation and cost optimization.

This individual is also responsible for the value improvement relevant product design, along with miscellaneous product deployment tasks for Home Care business, China. Work closely with other functional teams to support profitable business growth.
