Responsibilities
• Developing manufacturing test solutions including In-circuit test, functional circuit test, partial assembly test (PAT) and final assembly test (FAT) to enable high quality electronics manufacturing at scale.
• Collaborating closely with contract manufactures (CMs) to implement and validate the test solutions.
• Deep dive into product design, gain insights on product PCBA, IC, software and user experiences to understand the expectation on manufacturing process and quality.
• Leverage automotive electronics quality and manufacturing processes to facilitate efficient collaboration with product design and CMs.
• Lead root cause analysis for manufacturing test failures and quality issues and drive continues improvement on quality and efficiency.
• This role requires domestic and international travel to support program milestones and work with global partners.
Qualifications
Basic:
• Bachelor's Degree in E/E Engineering, computer science or related areas.
• 3+ years of experience in the automotive or high-volume electronics manufacturing industry.
• Over 2 years of direct experience developing E/E testing solution software and hardware.
• Good experience with automotive electronics development and manufacturing processes.
• Capability of leading effective technical reviews on E/E, software and mechanical subjects with global partners in English.
Preferred:
• Master of engineering degree in mechanical, electrical, or related technical field.
