Job Description

In your new role you will:

•Act as a Technical Interface to raw material suppliers and actively drive cost down activities with suppliers

•Define, create and negotiate Silicon Substrate Specifications with suppliers

•Be responsible for planning and coordination of Raw Material Qualifications within Infineon production sites & silicon wafer suppliers

•Ensure Continuous Improvement through interdisciplinary collaboration across locations with areas like R&D, marketing, logistics and quality management to optimize yield, reliability, quality & cost

•Develop and Drive Digitalization procedures and Automation for enhancements of silicon wafer qualification processes

•Support the global Procurement Category Management with major supplier interaction in Asia Pacific (e.g. definitions of supply requirements etc.)

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

•A degree in Material Science, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or a similar field of interest

•At least 4-6 years working experience in electronic (wafer) engineering (basic know how on base materials and production) preferably within the semiconductor industry

•Very good English & Mandarin communication skills

•Self-motivation to act as a team player working remote with a global team in Europe and Asia
