Key Tasks

• Selecting/qualifying / developing suppliers

• Establishing strategic supplier relationships in selected product groups

• Negotiating with suppliers

• Concluding contracts

• Technical clarification in cooperation with the various specialist departments

• Long-term support for specific product groups (commodity management)

• Coordinating and communicating on an international scale (internally and externally)

• Planning and implementing cost reduction projects

• Shared responsibility in a project for compliance with budget targets, deadlines, quality,

and security of supply of plant construction projects

• Supervise inspection and expediting functions

Qualifications

• University degree in engineering, industrial engineering, or commercial training with a technical background

• 10–15 years of related experience in the chemical industry

• Native Mandarin and business fluent English; German language skills are a plus

• Experience working with international teams and multinational companies

• Strong negotiation, leadership, and strategic thinking skills

• Proficiency in SAP and MS Office

• Exercise high autonomy in decision-making, with full transparency and adherence to company compliance
