Summary of the Position:
You will lead and conduct tire modeling and computer simulation to help team’s design choices and predict tire performances to meet customer’s technical targets.
Job Responsibilities:
• You will develop new products tire following design standards, according to priorities and performance objectives agreed on and using experimental as well as predictive approaches.
• You will learn, understand and apply the Global Design standards, best practices and Release Process.
• You will identify and communicate any process and tool improvement items.
• You will ensure product conformity to internal, external and legal standards.
• You will identify, communicate, and lead any guidelines/standards & best practices improvement items.
• You will coach others on guidelines/standards and best practices.
Job Requirements:
• You must have minimum of Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics or any related fields is required (Master’s degree in engineering, physics or any related fields is desired)
• You must have computer design and modeling experience (catia V5, abaqus, solidworks…) with finite element analysis (FEA) experience desired
• You have Product Design Experience is desired.
• You have knowledge in Statistical tools (minitab…), basic programing (VBA) is an asset
• You must have MS Office (World, Excel, Power Point).
• You must have ability to define and execute projects within a muti-cultural team.
• You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• You must have sense of responsibility, stress resistant and flexible.
• You must be proactive.
