Summary of the Position:
You will be responsible for carrying out rubber compound testing projects with moderate complexity or working on complex projects in cooperation with more experienced personnel both in the lab and the departments of our tire development partners or transferring/implementing new tests from other labs. You will seek solutions to technical problems, conducts work on assigned tasks, and exhibits an early career level of knowledge.
Job Responsibilities:
•You will interpret testing technical gap by communicating with global peers and development partners. You will transfer/implement new tests and aligns the testing method with global labs. You will be responsible for driving solutions to technical problems using standard methods of analysis.
•You will make improvements to or enhances current processes within functional group. You will lead and directs experimental tests, collects and summarizes data, and performs literature searches seeking solutions to problems.
•You will collect data and inputs to be used in making quality decisions. You will consult with knowledge resources where appropriate. You will make decisions based on facts. You will enhance standards, tools and processes used in the decision-making process. You will develop solutions to problems where causal relationships can be identified, and precedence exists.
•You will apply and interpret standard scientific theories, concepts, and techniques. You will use collaboration to solve problems and make improved business decisions. You will work within the environment and culture that encourages collaboration not only between teams and functions, but globally as well. You will use tools, techniques and innovative approaches to achieve improved decisions through collaboration.
•You will have open dialogue with peers and leadership on areas of concern or lack of understanding. You will select best means of communication. You will provide compelling technical direction and logical conclusions within the function (both oral and written).
Job Requirements:
•You must have Bachelors degree in a science or Mechanical & Electical engineering field
•You must have minimum of 2 years of experience in a science or mechanical & electrical engineering field is required if bachelor.
•You must have basic understanding of scientific principles in the appropriate discipline.
•You must have basic ability to carry out assignments in a logical fashion using standard apparatus and methods.
•You must have good training skill and problem-solving skills
•You must have good documentation skills to issue report and work instructions
•You must have basic organization, communication, experimentation and data analysis skills
