Summary of the Position:
You will develop, validate and implement new tire products using experimental & predictive approaches in interactions with other functions / departments.
Job Responsibilities:
• Product development and improvement:
- You will use tire engineering design standards to develop new products and support Applied and Functional projects.
- You will support implementation of new products in production and maintenance activities.
- You will improve and enhances problem solving strategies.
• Process:
- You will understand, follow and apply the Global Design standards.
- You will make improvements to or enhances current processes and tools within functional group.
• Technology:
- You will implement latest technologies in product development to ensure premium performance
- You will improve and enhance documentation of the created knowledge.
• Standards:
- You will ensure product conformity to internal, external and legal standards.
- You will know, improve and enhance design guidelines/standards and best practices.
Job Requirements:
• You must have minimum of Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics or any related fields is required (Master’s degree in engineering, physics or any related fields is desired)
• You must have computer design and modeling experience desired (catia V5, solidworks or similar)
• You have Product Design Experience desired.
• You have basic programing (VBA) is an asset
• You must have MS Office (World, Excel, Power Point) skills.
• You must have ability to define and execute projects within a multi-cultural team.
• You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• You must have sense of responsibility, stress resistant and flexible.
• You must be proactive.
• Languages
- You must have fluency in Chinese & English.
- You have Korean or Japanese is an advantage but not required
