The Commercial Excellence Teams aims to identify new business opportunities and increase salesforce productivity through diligent strategy work, business development projects as well as a continuous strive to improve Commercial Excellence and salesforce efficiency (SFE) Process.
As Manager, SFE you will take on a key role in the team by driving and supporting SFE Initiatives in China. Reporting to the Commercial Excellence Leader, the ideal candidate will plan and execute sales enablement initiatives to drive continuous improvement & functional excellence of the Life Science Division.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Act as SFE business Partner, leading the Data Team for business Analysis, providing insights and recommendation to increase operational efficiency and drive continual improvement of salesforce effectiveness.
2. Take lead in developing and executing commercial excellence project to support strategic business development.
3. Lead in defining the sales training roadmap, content and delivery methods for the Division through proactive training needs analysis and continuous engagement with leadership and key stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment in sales capabilities building with business goals and global selling methodologies.
4. Develops and implements metrics and monitoring plans to evaluate and demonstrate the impact of training on improving sales performance. Conduct learner assessments synthesize findings/insights and provide actionable recommendations for ongoing expansion and improvement of training content and format.
5. Develop and continuously improve sales training reinforcements and refresher methodologies using feedback, needs analysis and performance metrics.
6. Support for SFE related requirements, and the implementation and promotion of SFE work within Commercial Team. Support commercial team on utilizing SFE platforms/systems/dashboards in their daily operation, bridge system issues with technical teams for resolutions.
7. Conduct ad-hoc analysis upon requirements.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Business management, Mathematics or related discipline is preferred
2. Familiar with all SFE modules with track record of team in delivery value added support
3. Strong analytical capacity and able to deal with complex and ambiguous problems.
4. Extensive knowledge of sales training best practices, analysis, instructional design, delivery, implementation, and evaluation.
5. Strong leadership in terms of team engagement and cross function collaboration. Skilled at working across functions and stakeholders to define needs, leverage resources, implement plans and gain commitment to action. Comfortable working with people across cultures and beyond organization including suppliers and vendors to drive business results.
6. Willingness and capability to challenge the existing practices and explore new approaches especially where there is no “ready answer” available.
