How You’ll Make an Impact
As the Lead for Lubrizol’s Global Engineered Polymers and Medical Solutions (EPMS) Process Technology team, you'll be at the forefront of our innovation, developing next-generation manufacturing processes and building high-performing engineering teams. You will drive Most Effective Technology (MET) initiatives for Engineered Polymers, partner with global operations, and lead productivity and continuous improvement projects. Your leadership will oversee process scale-up for new products, tolling, and regional localization, while providing in-region process technology expertise. You'll collaborate with a diverse group of passionate individuals to deliver sustainable solutions that advance mobility, improve wellbeing, and enhance modern life. In this role, you will:
-Align process technology and productivity initiatives with global business and operations teams.
-Manage engineering teams and cross-functional projects to achieve business goals.
-Drive standardization and best practices in technology development, transfer, and project management.
-Partner with R&D and external parties to advance METPlus and Prime pipelines.
-Develop MET dashboards and KPIs to measure and improve performance.
-Lead scale-up activities, ensuring product and process quality.
-Implement Lean and Six Sigma methodologies for systematic improvements.
-Manage risk through FMEA and ensure compliance with technology license agreements.
-Support manufacturing plants to meet global METBase standards and localization needs.
-Hire and develop engineering talent, fostering creativity, agility, and continuous improvementRequired Qualifications that Enable Your Success
-Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or advanced degree in Chemistry.
-7+ years in chemical manufacturing.
-3–4 years’ experience managing engineers preferred.
-Expertise in engineered resins, polymers, and TPU/Medical chemistry.
-Proven success in process development, team leadership, and project management.
-Strong communication, networking, and interpersonal skills.
-Six Sigma and project management certifications are a plus.Preferred Qualifications that Drive You Forward
