1.    Responsibility

·       PLC Programming, automation & Troubleshooting

o  Develop, test, and debug ladder logic, structured text, and function block diagrams for PLCs (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, etc.). 

o  Troubleshoot, optimize and maintain existing PLC code for industrial machinery. 

o  Integrate PLCs with HMIs and industrial networks.

·       IoT Integration

o  Connect PLCs to IoT platforms for real-time monitoring. 

o  Deploy edge devices to bridge PLCs with cloud systems. 

·       Communication Protocols

o  Configure and manage industrial networks using: 

§ Ethernet-based: Ethernet/IP, PROFINET, Modbus TCP 

§ Wireless: MQTT and OPC UA

o  Ensure secure data transmission between PLCs, SCADA, and cloud databases. 

·       On-site deployment & support:

o  Travel to plant site to support during line integration, commissioning, train staff and troubleshoot critical issues

o  Document on-stie findings, maintain and optimize systems post-deployment

·       Collaboration & Documentation

o  Work with cross-functional teams (IT, Engineering, Plants, suppliers) to deploy solutions. 

o  Maintain technical documentation (functional specs, network diagrams). 

·       Education: Bachelor’s in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field. 

·       Experience & Technical skills:

o  3+ years in PLC programming (Siemens TIA Portal). 

o  Hands-on experience with IoT platforms. 

o  Proficiency in industrial protocols (Modbus, OPC UA, MQTT). 

o  Bonus Skills:

§ Python/C# for scripting PLC-IoT workflows. 

§ Knowledge of IIoT frameworks (Industry 4.0, Digital Twins). 

§ Familiarity with SQL databases for IoT data storage.

·       Language & communication:

o  Fluent in English (written and spoken) 

·       Travel requirement:

o  Willingness to travel up to 50% (international or domestic)
