Responsibility

1.Skilled in the use of CAD software such as Auto cad. 

2.Knowledge of and exposure to product testing and data collection. 

3.Familiar with Design Control procedures and requirements. 

4.Experience to detect GD&T and customer requirements. 

5.Knowledge of and exposure to product testing and data collection. 

6.CF Manufacturing experience. 

7.Ability and willingness to travel. 

8.Ability to detail project plans effectively. 

Requirement

1.3-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering / design, familiarity with checking fixtures is an asset. 

2.Post secondary education in automotive product design program or related field.

3.Knowledge and experience in Surfacing and Solid Modeling (Solidworks is preferred).

4.Sound knowledge of FEA/FMEA procedures. 

5.Demonstrated ability to read and interpret 3D e-drawings and GD&T markups. 

6.Excellent computer skills in word processing and spreadsheet applications. 

7.Excellent client service focus, with an ability to effectively collaborate with others. 

8.Strong organizational and workload planning skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.

9.Manufacturing experience is an asset. 

10.Independent, self-motivated, and pro-active.
