Strategic ER Alignment
• Develop and implement China-specific ER strategies and policies that synchronize global Group directives, local business objectives, and regulatory compliance to foster a performance-driven culture.
Risk Intelligence & Mitigation
• Proactively identify ER risks through continuous monitoring of workforce trends, legal landscapes (local/international employment/discrimination laws), and operational data.
• Design mitigation strategies integrated with the Group’s operational risk framework.
• Direct high-stakes resolution of disciplinary/grievance cases, ensuring legal and brand integrity.
ER Capability Building
• Deliver targeted training programs to upskill HRBPs and leaders on ER policies, risk indicators, and decision-making protocols.
• Serve as the primary advisor to HRBPs on complex ER matters, providing actionable guidance aligned with strategic priorities.
Working experiences:
• Minimum 8 years of demonstrated experience in various HR roles or Legal roles, within an international organization preferred
• Retail industry background preferred
Professional skills:
• Solid expertise in ER, round knowledge of Chinese labor law practice
• Strong business mindset and understanding of retail
Core competencies:
• Excellent communication and influencing skills
• Proven ability to uncover business/organization insights and provide ER solutions to the organization
• Proactive, self-motivated, strong ownership
• Learning agility, good planning/project management skills
Languages:
• Fluent in English and Mandarin
Travel frequency:
• Able to travel an average of 20% of working time
