Responsibilities:
- Optimize and streamline asset creation and integration workflows within Unreal Engine, enhancing both efficiency and quality.
- Lead the development and refinement of materials and shaders specific to our game's unique aesthetic needs.
- Provide daily support to both Art and Tech teams, acting as a key problem solver for production challenges.
- Develop custom tools and scripts for 3rd party and in-house software, including Unreal Engine, 3ds Max, Maya, and Photoshop.
- Maintain and update technical documentation related to art workflows and toolchains.
- Conduct scene profiling and optimization to ensure smooth gameplay experiences across all target platforms.
- Research and development of any new trends or tools to enhance the art pipeline
岗位责任:
- 根据项目需求负责项目材质及Shader的开发。
- 和项目成员一起制定与优化符合项目性能与美术要求的美术管线,确保技术端的可行性。
- 作为美术和开发团队之间的桥梁,为团队提供日常的技术支持,解决技术问题。
- 为项目使用的DCC工具与引擎开发自定义工具及脚本。
- 编写与维护项目技术美术文档,确保流程与工具能够正常使用。
- 能够使用性能分析工具分析UE引擎中的各项性能指标,判断项目性能瓶颈,并给出对应优化建议。
- 使用不同的商业游戏引擎,如Unreal、Unity等。
- 使用不同的DCC应用程序,如Maya、3ds Max、Photoshop等。
- 研究及探索最新的美术技术及管线。
Qualifications:
- Profound knowledge of PBR, lighting, shading, and rendering techniques.
- Proficient in shader creation and optimization for real-time game engines.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, MEL, MaxScript, or similar.
- Ability, interest and willingness to learn.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbally.
- Strong problem solving and trouble-shooting skills.
- English language skills are required.
资格要求:
- 有扎实的图形学基础,理解基础PBR,灯光以及渲染原理。
- 能够在虚幻引擎中开发符合项目于美术要求的Shader。
- 能够熟练使用蓝图,Python,MaxScriptt等开发工具。
- 出色的书面和口头沟通技巧。
- 强大的问题解决和故障排除技能。
Really catch our eye with:
- Experience with console and/or mobile game development.
- Knowledge of procedural content generation (PCG) in Unreal.
- Strong understanding of 3D math, particularly in linear algebra.
- Unreal Engine C++ experience, focusing on rendering aspects.
- Proficiency with profiling tools like PIX, RenderDoc or Razor.
- Background in animation and Control Rig, motion matching techniques.
