Context
Works in EHS team of D&E, S&SC, Manufacturing, CS, CRE or Corporate EHS. Interfaces mainly with EHS manager of own team and with team leads of own sector.
Applies a wide range of procedures and is able to answer questions about what needs to be done in specific situations using own professional judgement. Advices on EHS topics, based on given policies.
Researches, analyzes, makes recommendations and develops modifications. Designs and delivers projects in EHS area. Interprets and applies policies and provides advice.
As addition, a Senior EHS Specialist 1 working at Corporate EHS interfaces with experts of other sectors (both within and outside the EHS workfield).
Requirements
Requires professional/conceptual knowledge (relevant Master's degree) with solid working experience.
Ability to work in a dynamic business environment on a tactical level
Customer focus (internal or external)
Proven track record on stakeholder management (team lead level)
Requires strong knowledge of ASML policies, procedures, goals and strategies.
Collaborates in a positive and efficient manner.
Communicates effectively to stakeholders
stays friendly at all times
provides constructive feedback and listens carefully to any feedback given.
Drives results to ensure EHS improvements at own sector.
Manages complexity within own workfield.
Responsibilities
Key EHS processes (e.g. Incident Management, Compliance Management, JSA/Risk Management, Inspections/ Audits, Sustainability Reporting)
Executes existing EHS processes. Is part of sector project teams to improve sector EHS processes.
Technical competence areas (e.g. Laser Safety, Electrical Safety, Radiation, Hazardous Materials, Ergonomics, Waste, Energy, CO2 emissions, Life Cycle Assessments)
Shares knowledge on technical competence areas in an operational working environment.
Acts as competence lead on one or multiple competence areas within own sector.
EHS data analysis & improvements
Responsible for MOP data for sector.
Performs EHS trend analyses for sector.
Designs reporting dashboards in myEHS.
Defines actions for improvement on EHS.
Enhance EHS culture & communication
Supports the improvement of the EHS culture within own factory/ location
Supports sector EHS culture improvement initiatives.
Makes and publishes EHS communication material.
