We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.

Business: Enterprise Technology

Principal responsibilities

Responsible to provide support across the end-to-end software delivery, utilising the skills and expertise to carry out software development, testing and operational support activities with the ability to move between these according to demand;

Build and manage Azure environment using Teraform and organisational standards;

Build Web Application using Django Technology and relational database;

Liaise with other engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to understand and drive the product or service’s enhancements;

Translating business level requirements to system level components or blocks;

Create robust technical design and a strategy for development of new components to meet requirements;

Work on test plans including unit and integration tests, within automated test environments to ensure code quality aspect;

Working with Ops, Dev and Test Engineers to ensure operational issues (performance, operator intervention, alerting, design defect related issues, etc.) are identified and addressed at all stages of a product or service release / change;

Provide on-call production support for a live system;

Responsible for automating the continuous integration / continuous delivery pipeline within a DevOps Product/Service team driving a culture of continuous improvement;

Keep up to date and have expertise on current tools, technologies and areas like cyber security and regulations pertaining to aspects like data privacy, consent, data residency etc. that are applicable;

Ensure all the IT General Controls are followed and be able to provide evidence when required by audit reviews from time to time.

8+ years as a full stack developer with expertise on Microsoft Azure, Django, Python and relational database

Must be Certified Azure Cloud Engineer with experience involving design, deployment, configuration and optimization including Terraform, of medium to large scale enterprise infrastructure

Must have experience in development with Azure Data Factory, Azure CLI, REST API.

Must have hands on experience on Microsoft SQL or PostgreSQL like writing simple to complex SQLs, DMLs, DCLs, Database insights, users, roles, writing procedure/programme using MS SQL. etc..

Must have experience in controlling and optimizing Cloud cost.

Must be expert in complex web development using Python and Django framework.

What additional skills will be good to have?

Good to have experience in scripting with Powershell, Linux.

Good to have understanding of front end technologies like HTML5, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, Bootstrap and AJAX/ HTMX

Good to have experience and knowledge on implementation of automated controls.

Good to have experience of handing incidents for Live system.
