Responsibilities:

1. Ensure successful industrialization of Jigs and Tools assets (creation, development and modification) based on identified needs until final acceptance and handover to the corresponding Operations Manager.

2. Design and/or specify the requested Jigs and Tools assets according to requirements from Manuf. Engineering Process Engineer, Operations, Maintenance Engineer and Plant/ FAL Quality Assurance Representative for Jigs and Tools, as well as Human Factors, e.g. Health and Safety and Ergonomics, Environmental, Security, including Cyber Security, and legal aspects, such as Export Control or Marking.

Ensure integration of these requirements in J&T technical specification.

3. Ensure the provided solution is fully integrated within the industrial system through a robust acceptance process set on defined Key Performance Indicators.

4. Contribute to the purchasing phases of the Jigs and Tools asset, including technical specification for call for tender.

5. Support Finance activities to elaborate the CapEx and/or OpEx dossier.

6. Support Plants/ FALs in all the activities where a Jig and/or Tool asset is involved.

7. Support root cause analysis of Non Conformities and improvement projects.

8. Integrate mature industrial technologies in link with R&D. Collaborate with R&D to integrate requirements and consolidate Airbus Industrial Vision.

1.Jigs and Tools Tool Request: analysis, assessment and acceptance.

2. Jigs and Tools Technical Project leader including technical interface to

supplier.

3. Jigs and Tools MFT creation.

4. Jigs and Tools Project suppliers technical down selection.

5. Jigs and Tools Project supplier follow up.

6. Jigs and Tools Design and Manufacturing Data Set: creation, acceptance and

validation

7. Jigs and Tools Manufacturing Acceptance follow up (Plant/ FAL Quality

Assurance for Jigs and Tools or representative is accountable for the Jigs and

Tools Acceptance).

8. Jigs and Tools definition for Maintenance, Training, Recertification and re-

calibration.

9. Jigs and Tools Handover to Operations.
