Job Purpose

ASML is seeking a Head of Strategic Sourcing and Procurement for China to drive a more efficient sourcing organization. This individual will play a key role in developing a local supplier network in China that is cost-effective and efficient, with the ultimate goal of achieving self-sufficiency in the future.

The Head of Strategic Sourcing and Procurement for China will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management practices by building strong, strategic, long-term, and win-win relationships with suppliers who can adhere to ASML's high standards in quality, logistics, technology, cost, and sustainability.

The priorities of the role include:

Strategic Sourcing:

•Identify, build, and expand the local supplier network in China

•Conduct thorough sourcing analysis and drive ongoing performance management and improvement

•Ensure supply security, efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and competence, while maintaining the highest level of governance.Supplier Management:

•Manage supplier performance to meet ASML's high standards for product/service quality, logistics, technology, cost, and sustainability

•Onboard new suppliers, training them on ASML's culture, work processes, and requirements for quality and delivery

•Conduct regular supplier reviews and annual risk assessments for critical suppliers, evaluating various risk factors to guide best practices at sites.Operation Development:

•Establish purchasing metrics to guide performance measurement and continuous improvement

•Develop the sourcing and procurement team's capabilities and streamline internal processes

•Collaborate cross-functionally and across global sites to achieve maximum efficiency and productivity in sourcing and procurement

Shaping Strategy
