About this opportunity
Radio Products China is end-to-end responsible for product development from concept study until maintenance of radio products developed in China. We are approximately 1,000 engineers and developers collaborating mainly between Beijing and Chengdu sites to drive Massive MIMO, Classic and Indoor radio technology leadership and product competitiveness in Hardware, Software and Enclosure areas through early concept study, product systemization, solution design, integration and verification, product introduction and maintenance. What will you do:
• Working with a wider design community to understand system architecture, link-budgets for transmit chain and defining amplifier solutions that would fulfill all requirements (i.e. performance, form-factor, cost, manufacturability etc.) for a timely & successful product delivery
• Designing & developing high-power amplifiers modules and support their higher-level integration into radio with digital pre-distortion techniques to meet regulatory & internal requirements
• Modeling and characterizing linear/non-linear circuit elements used in high-power RF power amplifier modules
• Using advanced CAD/Simulation tools for modelling, analysis and to generate layout & schematics for power amplifier module
• Utilizing your analytical skills to troubleshoot & solve (design/manufacturability) issues at both, power amplifier module-level, and upon its integration at the radio system-level
You will bring
• Master degree or above of Electronics Engineering, Microwave, Wireless Communication or equivalent.
• PA design experience, preferably in amplifier/transceiver design & verification for wireless applications
• Experience with Agilent's Advanced Design System (ADS), Ansoft's High Frequency Structure Simulator (HFSS) and Planar EM Solvers (Sonnet's EM and/or Agilent's Momentum) will be a plus
• Hands-on experience with RF instrumentation & measurement techniques
• Experience in automating instrumentation & test-routines using Matlab/Labview/Python is a plus
