1．Program Management:

• Lead the planning and execution of technical programs focused on Android Automotive solutions for embedded App Store & App deployment in car infotainment

• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation.

• Secure on time, on budget & on quality delivery of each program, working hand in hand with regional teams, product teams & delivery teams through cross-functional management and adequate communication

• Coordinate and manage cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables are met on time and within budget.

2. Technical Expertise:

• Provide technical leadership and guidance on Android Automotive development and integration, support in translating the language between the engineering & the sales teams of Forvia & the OEM client

• Stay current with the latest trends and advancements in Android Automotive technology.

• Ensure that all technical aspects of the program meet the required standards and specifications and are in line with the regulation

3. Stakeholder Communication:

• Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including clients, partners, and internal teams.

• Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.

• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between engineering teams and stakeholders.

4.Risk Management:

• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.

• Monitor and manage project risks and issues, escalating as necessary to ensure resolution on a timely manner

5.Quality Assurance:

• Ensure that all deliverables meet the requested & agreed upon quality and performance through contractual agreements with OEMs.

• Oversee the implementation of testing and validation processes to ensure product reliability.

6.Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, KPIs and risk assessments.

• Prepare and present regular program updates to senior management and stakeholders.

7.Global Collaboration:

• Work closely with international teams and partners, facilitating collaboration and ensuring alignment on project goals.

• Leverage Chinese language skills (if applicable) to enhance communication with Chinese-speaking partners and stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 7-10 years of experience in technical program management.

• Proven experience in managing programs focused on Android Automotive solutions.

• Strong background in automotive technology and familiarity with industry standards.

• Experience working with global teams and managing cross-functional projects.

• In-depth knowledge of Android Automotive OS and related technologies.

• Understanding of automotive communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN, MOST) is a plus.

• Proficient in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
