Introduction

The CS Quality and Excellence of China region is part of the Customer Support organization. The strategy of CS Quality and Excellence is 3-fold:

Challenge : Improve and drive Quality within ASML, in region and headquarters.

Collaboration: Accelerate cross-sector quality collaboration. Strengthen our quality processes and adherence for Install base and early PGP.

Care: Become customer-centric by bringing the voice of the customers into ASML. Embed an interdependent quality mindset at ASML

In CS Quality and Excellence, the Service Quality Excellence team is responsible for driving quality programs and improving quality systems.

Position in the organization

Reports hierarchically to Service Quality Excellence Manager

Based in Wuxi or major ASML sites in China

Job mission

New Machine Quality (NMQ) belongs to Service Quality Excellence department. Current we meet lots of quality challenge due to ASML new production installed at customer sites. This job mission is to work with cross sectors to ensure the new machines (from move-in to 1st year of operation) meet our designed quality targets.

Job Description

In this position you will be responsible for the following key duties:

Develop and deploy plan of NMQ in China region

Understand the landscape of quality hits during the NMQ phase at customer sites

Identify common denominators for NMQ hits and define priorities based on internal and external impact

Define improvement opportunities to improve the NMQ performance

Define support requests towards headquarters

Establish and maintain NMQ KPIs and dashboard and drive for performance improvement

Align with ASML headquarters on targets/KPIs

Define leading KPIs for NMQ program within team

Closely collaborate with different sectors to ensure synchronized approach on NMQ processes.

Drive issue resolution & prevention of new machines by regional and global collaboration, via quality processes, e.g. L-DRB, install quality control, install quality issue resolution etc.

Understand the pains/demands of different stakeholders and able to translate to action items landing within organization.

Support on customer communication with Customer Quality Managers.

Support driving the quality mindset & training especially on NMQ

Perform other duties as assigned or required

Educational Level

Bachelor degree or above

Experience

Experience in the semiconductor industry

Experience in Professional Field Service Operations

Experience in people leadership and UIR is a plus.

Proficient use of MS office, SAP, SMS/MHO, AIR

Microsoft BI/PowerApps and/or Spotfire experience as plus

Experience/Strong Knowledge of ISO 9001 QMS, Six Sigma, SPC, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification is a plus.

Experience/Strong knowledge of problem-solving skills/tools and techniques such as 8D/A3 methodology, DMAIC, Lean Six Sigma Methodology, etc. is a plus.
