We are currently seeking to appoint a Senior Director level, Due Diligence Lead to oversee all due diligence (DD) activities focussed on the CM&E disease area. Given the majority of our activities in this area are in China, the new incumbent will also support DD activities in our other therapy areas with specific geographical focus on China. The new incumbent, within a newly formed team, will lead on all scientific and technical due diligence processes for potential partnering, acquisitions, or licensing deals. The role will require you to utilise your own expertise in global drug development, as well as the expertise of other internal and external experts to deliver full due diligence assessments to senior management to support key investment decision making.

You are a MD (MBBS) or equivalent qualification.

You are an expert in global drug development in China as well as the CM&E (cardiovascuar, metabolism and endocrinology) disease area. You may also have experience in our other relevant therapy areas (Oncology, Neurology and Immunology) that would also be helpful.

You have significant experience and demostrable track record of leading multidisciplinary project teams in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, potentially as a Programme Head of similar.

You have deep understanding of the overall pharmaceutical drug development process, with credible hands-on R&D expertise in mid-late stage clinical development.You are a curious drug development leader who may have conducted Due Diligence activities as part of your current position who wishes to move into a critical R&D business role aimed and delivering new treatments to patients.
