Role Purpose
Sales Support Specialist provides assistance to China commercial team to ensure customer satisfaction for the BioReliance® testing services. This role will be responsible for clerical and administrative duties for the Commercial team, like responding to quotes request for routine testing, preparing bidding documents, answering customers’ inquiries and informing customers on change notifications. The Sales Support Specialist will also be responsible for gaining new sales or marketing leads and assigning them to the respective sales team member. Additional duties will include assist in organising of sales meetings, consolidating content for regional newsletters, and other tasks assigned by the line manager.
Key AccountabilitiesAnswering customer inquiries, scheduling meetings, sales appointments, bidding documents preparation and following up with customers about their quote or proposal requests.Consolidating sales tracker, delegating sales or marketing leads to the respective salesperson, and providing sales data and guides to the Head of Sales.Developing and monitoring performance indicators for sales, managing of sales tracker, and creating sales dashboards in SFDC.Maintain and increase the current customer database through SFDC.Utilise SDFC and S&OP data to analyse and capitalise on sales opportunities.Communicate key competitive activities, trends, and changing customer development plans and priorities, which include emerging customers.
Position Requirements Good scientific credentials, qualifications at least to first-degree level in areas of the life sciences.Requires a minimum of 1-2 years of relevant sales or customer service experience.Strong listening and communication skills are crucial. The sales support specialist will also learn how to listen for common objections and utilize sales training to overcome them.
