About the role
As a part of the Front-End technology team, you are responsible for the front-end technology/device development in internal fabs as well as for the selection, specification, validation, and certification of Foundry technologies, especially on the development and optimal selection of device and process options for CMOS, HV and Power applications. Typical responsibilities include Technology/Foundry scouting and evaluation, device performance analysis, test structure design, process integration, process and device simulation, and experiment lot analysis. You will be working closely with IC-designers, Process engineers and factories (internal/external) to make these choices on process and device level.
What you will do
Translating circuit requirements into device- and/or process- requirements via close interaction with the IC-designers
design new CMOS, Power/HV devices and coordinate experiments for technology development and yield enhancement for CMOS/BCD technologies.
Benchmarking the different devices and process-technologies internal and in foundries to drive the above actions. Ensuring factories understand Nexperia CMOS/BCD technology and device requirements.
Preparing technical engagements with internal/external factories to drive them developing new technology or deliver the right information back to Nexperia designers.
Working as a consultant for IC design engineers, enabling them to make optimal use of the technology and the Power/HV devices in their IC designs.
