Job Description:
This candidate will be a member of Research Portfolio and Program Management (Research PPM) function.
This position will support portfolio and program managers to drive and enhance process quality and efficiency, including but not limited to supporting meeting organization and essential coordination activities, coordinating IND-enabling activities during research to early clinical development transition and facilitating budget management activities.
Responsibilities:
Support portfolio and program managers to plan and ensure Research IND-enabling studies on right and fast track, including but not limited to IND filing timeline management, progress tracking, risk identification and mitigation strategy planning, and assistance in content planning and documents preparation.
Support portfolio and program managers to drive budget management activities, including but not limited to supporting review process set-up, execution and optimization, facilitating Finance Excellence projects, and providing portfolio and scientific input.
Organize and coordinate regular and ad hoc review and discussion meetings for the new target proposal committees. Support collecting feedbacks from committee members and communicate with proposers for process-related questions. Responsible for new target registry, meeting organizations, meeting minutes documentation, maintenance of program-related files and action item follow-up.
Perform tasks such as maintaining and updating research portfolio, program and headcount summary and reports, assist in the preparation and polishing of research documents (PowerPoint, word, excel).
Support organization of portfolio and program meetings, coordinating the timeslot of key attendees and facilitating meeting preparation.
Support external meetings/activities arrangement, program celebration events, research/ portfolio announcement and cross-function material distribution.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree or equivalent experience in life sciences.
Experience in IND-enabling studies and AUS/US IND filings is preferred.
Experience in budget management work is preferred.
Experience in leading or managing research program(s) in pharmaceutical industry is a big plus.
Good language skills in English and Chinese.
Good skills with Office software (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Power Point).
Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
Good planning, organizational, and time-management skills.
Highly motivated, self-starter able to work in a changing and diverse environment.
