Mindshare, as an agency of GroupM, is a leading global media investment company and part of WPP. We are currently seeking a Net Working Capital Manager to join our team in Shanghai. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the collection process and collaborating closely with the financial team to expedite the billing process.

Reporting of the role

This role reports to Net Working Capital Associate Director.

Measures of success –

In three months:

• Understand Mindshare scope of work and working processes of NWC.

• Gotten an understanding of key clients billing & payment terms.

• Build up connection and work closely with SP team and commercial team to complete the billing process on time.

In six months:

• Working closely with SP team and commercial team, and actively optimize and shorten the billing cycle in daily execution.

• Track and monitor projects could potentially undergo changes in real-time.

• Working with team members to improve working efficiency and effectiveness.

In 12 months:

• Build good relationship with commercial and SP team.

• Optimize operation process systematically and exceeded the NWC.

• Ensure billing and overfulfilled the collection.

Responsibilities of the role:

• Optimize the acceptance and billing process, providing an optimization plan to improve the invoicing rate and accelerate the acceptance process.

• Act as an expert and champion of the Minder tool, utilizing its functionalities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

• Utilize Excel proficiently to handle and analyze relevant data.

What you will need:

• At least 4 years of relevant experience in Third-Party (TP) or Specialist Partner (SP) operations, preferably with a finance background.

• A Diploma or above degree in a related field.

• Strong independent problem-solving skills, capable of handling challenges effectively.

• Excellent communication, coordination, and negotiation skills, with a quick learning ability.

• Patience and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in tasks and processes.
