The Translational Science Department at Beigene is seeking a highly motivated Scientist/Senior scientist to perform discovery and translational biology research in the areas of cancer immunology, autoimmune diseases and inflammation. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and executing experiments to provide support and contribute to pipeline projects. She/he will be working in a collaborative and fast-paced team. This lab-based position will be critical to the progression of drug candidates into clinic.

• Under the guidance of manager, applies scientific and technical skills and knowledge to design and perform experiment for drug target discovery and validation research in cancer, inflammatory and autoimmune diseases.

• Utilizing in vivo, in vitro and ex vitro models to support translational studies, indication prioritization and development of biomarker strategies.

• Proficient execution of standard molecular, cell biology and immunology techniques including protein analysis (ELISA, western blotting, etc.), immune cell-based assays (cytokine secretion, cell proliferation, etc.), flow cytometry, transfection, mammalian cell culture, and various types of microscopy for cell and tissue imaging.

• Develop, validate, and write laboratory protocols and reports.

• Organize data, maintain lab records and effectively communicate results.

资格：

• 免疫学、细胞生物学、生物化学或相关领域的硕士学位。

• 2 年以上学术或行业实验室环境的研究生经验，非常希望有制药行业的药物开发经验。

• 具有免疫学技术（如原代细胞培养、流式细胞术、体内模型等）和临床样本分析方面的知识和实践经验者优先。

• 出色的故障排除、人际交往和组织能力。

• 优秀的中英文口头和书面沟通能力。

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in immunology, cell biology, biochemistry, or a related field.

• 2+ years of post-graduate experience in an academic or industry laboratory setting, drug development experience in pharmaceutical industry is highly desirable.

• Knowledge and hands on experience with immunology techniques (such as primary cell culture, flow cytometry, in vivo models, etc) and clinical sample analysis is strongly preferred.

• Excellent troubleshooting, interpersonal and organizing skills.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Chinese.
