1. Performs lab routine tests per standard requirements and comply with ISO17025, record test results and other test related information.
2. According to FUS (follow-up service) sample testing procedure to handle FUS admin work. Determines FUS sample testing plan by reviewing files and manufacturer's information, examining samples, and applying UL requirements. Reviews test results and issues conformance /non-conformance letter.
3. Initiates communication with clients and field engineers to confirm the sample information or discuss technical issues, explain UL procedures and requirements. Provides technical assistance to clients in reference to product inspection and follow-up services.
4. Coordinates laboratory activities by preparing data sheets and instructions to technicians and establishing completion dates.Operates FUS related systems to record test information and results.
5. Handles FUS sample testing related inquiries from clients; Follow up un-received FUS samples or work tickets with client or field engineers; Acts to address client concerns and to resolve client issues. and help them resolve questions.
6. Assists in the development of FUS processes and FUS related systems.
7. Assists in the implementation of UL special FUS program. Assists in establishing special FUS sample test plans. Reviews test results and take special actions as the requirements of the program . May work with market surveillance team to handle the market survaillance sample testing, as directed. May handle the re-certification project caused by FUS significant non-comformance in the previous FUS sample testing.
8. Handle CITS projects, determine the test scope and sample requirements by analyzing client input, available supplemental data, and the specific test needs.
