The role partners with stakeholders across the segments and functions and within Mars Digital Technologies to deliver complex projects within the region. The focus is on great project management to ensure project outcomes are achieved in terms of scope, cost, time & quality. The role will also be expected to embrace new digital methods and tools such as Scrum, Design Thinking, DevOps and drive the “Zero Distance to the Customer” agenda.
What are we looking for?
Education & Professional Qualification
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
· Project management certification – preferred not mandatory.
Knowledge/Experience
· Experience in IT or relevant business process area.
· Project experience (as part of a project team or as a project manager)
· Knowledge of IT solutions and/or relevant business area.
· Strong stakeholder management skills are essential.
· Experience of supporting business change, testing and communication.
· Confident in identifying and escalating key points/issues.
· Experience in ensuring project deliverables are accurate and to the right quality
· Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills.
· Strong planning and task management skills.
What will be your key responsibilities?
· Manages the delivery of up to $1M annual projects, securing benefits delivery through expert management of stakeholders and project scope, cost, time & quality
· Leads a high performing team of 3rd party resources by ensuring roles & responsibilities are clear, the scope of work is well defined and deliverable quality is met
· Working across Business Partnership, Core Capabilities and Core Services teams to determine system functional requirements and solution design
· Determines business process and information requirements and delivers effective business process and system changes.
· Balancing cost, timescales and risk levels in order to deliver the business requirements within agreed resource and budget constraints.
· Managing critical path and high-risk activities, identifying potential threats and conflicts, and implementing mitigating actions.
· Analyses the business and systems impact of the solution and plan the detailed tasks required to achieve delivery of a fully tested and supported solution.
· Maintains a thorough understanding of the relevant project management tools, methods and best practice.What can you expect from Mars?
