General Purpose of the Job
This role is a core member in Salomon China team who will manage footwear category for all Channels in China.
Main Responsibility Areas
Salomon Footwear Management
- Collaborated with line manager to define footwear strategy and tactics related to assortment planning, segmentation, distribution, SMU briefing and collaboration projects etc for China market
- Be the key role to balance the global strategy and local needs
- Drive footwear GTM key gates to get key stakeholders aligned
- Work closely with marketing and DTC team to build and execute seasonal calendar
- Review order from all channels to make sure line adoption and efficiency
- Download seasonal story and product training to all related cross-functions
- Stay refresh on market insights and submit competitor & trend report regularly
- Understand product trends, historical data and departmental input at by channel and at category level in order to manage in-season opportunities or risks
- Cooperate with Visual Merchandising professionals to make VM guidelines, ensure store excellence
- Keep on good communication with key cross functional team and collect feedback for better assortment plan and execution.
Needed Competencies
- University degree
- Retail relative experience (6 years+) including product merchandising or product creation etc.
- Proficient in English
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software, i.e. PowerPoint, Word, Excel
- High communication skill
- Responsible and initiative
- Good sense of sneaker culture is a plus
- Have relative training skills is a plus
