The New Product Planning and Strategy team is responsible for external opportunity screening and assessment, BD deal evaluation and negotiation, and (license-on) portfolio management till commercial launch.
As (Sr.) Brand Manager of NPP team, this role will be assigned under 1-2 TA(s) (to be determined later) with below responsibilities and deliverables:
1) Disease area strategy and insights:
a) Understand the patient flow, competitive intelligence and business insights in specific diseases under assigned TA
2) BD candidate screening & evaluation:
a) Conduct BD candidate screen through desktop research and maintain periodic refresh
b) Prepare case evaluation and support deal negotiation
3) Commercial forecast:
a) Well understand the TPP of pipeline products and build robust patient-based forecast
4) Pipeline development acceleration:
a) Work closely with xFn (R&D, Regulatory, Pricing & Market Access, Central Marketing, Medical) colleagues and support pipeline development and registration acceleration
Previous Work Experience and capabilities: at least 3 years work experience in new product planning or business development in Pharma MNCs, and / or consulting firm with project experience focusing on pharmaceuticals
1. Basic knowledge of clinical trial development
2. Able to identify brand profile through efficient desktop research (medical publications and other reports/papers)
3. Build patient-based model independently
4. Familiar with information/data sources (e.g.: intelligence database) and conduct primary research independently
5. Fundamental knowledge of China pharmaceutical market regulatory and market access environment
6. Communicate and present in English
