Main areas of responsibilities are:
• Deploying the Global Commodity Strategy at Local level defining the relevant Commodity Management Plan and the PLO Cost Reduction Plan in accordance with the PLO and the SBP targets and objectives
• Managing all Procurement and Sourcing activities of his/her commodity for the local projects
• Creating a strong and collaborative cross-functional team with key stakeholders locally and globally (Local Procurement, Engineering, Technology, Manufacturing, Material Management, etc.)
• Fostering the Supplier Relationship Management with Local Strategic Suppliers and develop Local Framework Agreements with Preferred Suppliers, where applicable, while supporting the Global Commodity Manager with Global Agreements
• Leading and coaching the Local Commodity Buyers to deploy the commodity strategies locally and collaborate with global counterparts to maximize leverage
• Supporting Early Procurement in the development of offering during Proposal phase
• Supporting Global Sourcing and Benchmarking from Best Cost Countries (BCC)
The Local Commodity Manager reports to the Head of Local Procurement and to the Global Commodity Manager of his/her commodity.

Qualifications
• Education:
o Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Economics, Master’s preferred
o CIPS or CPM certification preferred
• Previous experiences:
o Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement and category management , preferably in a multinational environment
o Previous experience in procurement at an Automotive OEM, System Integrator or Equipment Manufacturer
o Knowledge of supplier sourcing and management, cost analysis, KPI management, risk management and critical issue management
• Languages:
o Fluent in English, any other language would be an asset.
