Your responsibilities will include:

Being a subject matter expert

Provide operation support to Manufacturing IT systems at China JV sites, including:

Assist Level 1 technical support.

Provide Level 2 technical support

Respond to incident tickets while primary on escalation rotation

Follow up on incident tickets closures and resolutions

Provide technical consulting for error control and preventive maintenance

Provide support to update operation related technical documents, including health check

Provide deployment support to Manufacturing IT systems at China JV sites, including:

Conduct system configuration changes as per Launch standards (NPP/BMI)

Conduct system deployment as per Deployment Project requested (Launch and Deployment standards)

Coordinate, plan and execute release upgrade and prepare relevant change control process and documents

Perform transition to operation (T2O)

Provide system training to key IT and business users required for Launch and Deploy

Support Manufacturing/GPSC Business Facing Team for:

New business requirement collection and background study

Work as a liaison with business facing in GM China and Global teams.

Portfolio planning managing and coordination

Frequent contact with others outside the work group

Holds themselves and others accountable for demonstrating GMs values and cultural behaviors

Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. Training, education and/or experience in Computer Operations. Other experience in computer hosting, Data center operations, etc.
